| Turquoise/Green Bug Bracelet
The idea from this bracelet obviously came from the bug for starters. The colours were so lovely and I've been saving him up for the right beads. He is vintage, made of glass.
The right beads arrived in the form of the beautiful peacock blue crystal rondelles and Eleanor Browns' textile beads in blue/ green.
The bracelet was completed with an easy to use ornamental toggle clasp. Toggles are great for doing up with one hand, and they are still very secure.

These earrings will go with almost anything. They are made using pale topaz round glass beads, which are attached to the smaller clear glass with gold etched spiral beads, by a tiny little gold spacer with a celtic knot pattern.
Another celtic knot spacer finishes off the drop at the top while a bronze filligree bead cap finishes it off at the bottom.
The completed drops have been added to an unusually shaped long gold kidney wire.

Its a vintage triple layered floral brooch with milky crystals, and attached to it by two lobster claw clasps is a vintage bronze chain. Unclip the chain and you have a brooch, clip the chain on, the brooch becomes a pendant, and you have a necklace.

Chrysocolla is most commonly found in an attractive blue-green color with brown, rust or black inclusions, but, if you are lucky, you may find a stone that also contains gold flecks, so be sure to check your beads carefully!
Chrysocolla is a minor ore of copper, as it forms in the oxidation zones of copper-rich areas. The name is of Greek origin, chrysos meaning "gold" and kolla meaning "glue," in reference to similar-looking material that was used to solder gold. It is a very fragile mineral and cannot be used for jewelry unless it is agatized in chalcedony.
Much of the chrysocolla on the market is mined in Africa, and is sometimes billed as African chrysocolla.

| CZ194 - Pressed Glass Bead Mix
These beads were completely handcrafted of glass in the Czech Republic. The quality is superior.
Pressed glass beads are made by inserting a long rod of glass cane into a gas furnace. The resulting molten glass is then pressed into a mold while a needle is simultaneously inserted to form the hole. Upon cooling, the beads undergo a two-stage tumble process: initially excess glass is broken off and then the surface is smoothed.
A mix of beads in all sorts of shapes and sizes including leaves, teardrops, oblongs and much, much more.
Break them up and use them for various projects, or make something of the strand as it is. Your options are many.
The colours are a mix of browns, topazes, pale beiges etc.

Limited edition bracelet is made using wonderful brown fiber beads, handcrafted by the textile bead artist Eleanore Brown. The brown and tan fibers have a hint of gold running through them, so that they glisten when worn.
The fiber beads are inter-spaced with large holed crystals in brown and topaz, and all of the beads are strung onto a Pandora style snake chain bracelet with a lobster claw clasps and stoppers at either end.

Last year on my birthday my sister bought me this hand-dyed roving from the Champaign-Urbana spinners and weavers guild show and sale. It does make a pretty darn terrific fiber bead set.

I sat up at 1:00 a.m. working with this incredible hand dyed rayon and polyester ribbon. The jewel tones and sparkling edges are more beautiful in the studio than out of the dye pot. I then wrapped the bead in a gorgeous, stupendously bright colored mohair.

Well, these beads were all kinds of fun to experiment with! I LOVE the final look and while they look difficult to make, believe me they are as easy as pie! The base color of the bead is a neutral, light light beige fun fur paired with a gorgeous cotton and poly twist of brown, gray and pink. The final look is a bit scrappy and not for that perfectly polished look.

I LOVE this bead style but agree with the beads. At first, I had a few doubts. These beads are definitely for the more adventurous artistic creator. They are made from a fiber called Hot, Hot, Hot by Plymouth yarn. The fiber appears on the skein as a collection of scraps and bits that have been woven together on the main thread. It's a polyester, nylon and acrylic blend with colors reminiscent of the fall or even Halloween. There are 8 beads in this set. If you need more (or less) convo me and I will be happy to adjust your order to fit.
Oh, color. This is a gray/black with orange light olive green and burgundy nylon scraps. The photos show up as pink..this is actually a darker, more burgundy shade.
Each bead at the core is .75 inches long and .50 inch wide. Through the center you will find a core that is .33 inch wide. The strands that fly from the center are 2 inch pieces.

| 9785 - Clear Glass Tubes with Gold and Roses
Stunningly beautiful, large clear glass tubes in the style sometimes called 'Wedding Cake'. They are called this because of the decoration, which is like the icing on wedding cakes.
The decoration on these particular beads is raised gold around the centre of the bead, with raised roses and tiny blue raised dots. There are also raised gold swirls.
Please note though that these beads are decorated by hand, so the beads you get may differ slightly. You can see that even the two in the photo are a bit different to each other, even thought they are still the same, if you get my drift.

Yep - you can see that Norma and I love our flowers! Well the shape and colours of this reminded me of the Lupin, and the Texan wild Lupins are apparently called Bluebonnets, and as you can see, there is blue, yellow, and cream in this fabulous bead, as well as black, and all on a lovely, creamy-white base.
What more could you want for summer?

| CZECH ORNELA SEED BEADS
My seed beads are made in Czechoslovakia by Jablonex. They are top quality glass and are called Ornela Seed Beads.
You will enjoy the smoother 'feel' that Ornela beads have compared to other seed beads. You'll love the natural look and the soft drape that these beads give to your finished work.
I sell the beads by the strand. Each strand is approx. 14" long and contains approx. 325 beads. ( This will vary with the type of bead.)

Some bead sellers sell seed beads with the higher the number the bigger the size, and the lower the number the smaller the size. I have always sold them in that way myself, because it seems to make more sense.
However, more and more sellers are going for the traditional sizing which is the bigger the number, the smaller the bead and vice versa, so I am reverting to this traditional sizing method from now on, so please bear this in mind when ordering ... THE BIGGER THE NUMBER, THE SMALLER THE BEAD.

Oh, and one more thing,. I KNOW that you are not stupid, but I must just remind you that the photographs are of whole hanks of beads, whearas iI sell them by the strand. This is to show the colour better in the photo's, and I don't want you to be upset when you recieve a strand rather that a whole hank.
