CZ210 - Purple Tone Firepolished - 8mm These fire polished glass beads were handmade in the Czech Republic.
Fire polished beads are produced by melting the surfaces of pressed beads in an extremely hot oven. The pressed beads are faceted prior to heating: round pressed beads (druks) are placed on a pronged board and inserted into a faceting machine where the beads are angled onto a grinding wheel until all sides are faceted.
Faceted round in shape, the strand consists of 25 jewel tone purple beads each measuring approx 8mm in diameter with a 1.5mm hole.

CZ194 - Pressed Glass Bead Mix These beads were completely handcrafted of glass in the Czech Republic. The quality is superior.
Pressed glass beads are made by inserting a long rod of glass cane into a gas furnace. The resulting molten glass is then pressed into a mold while a needle is simultaneously inserted to form the hole. Upon cooling, the beads undergo a two-stage tumble process: initially excess glass is broken off and then the surface is smoothed.
A mix of beads in all sorts of shapes and sizes including leaves, teardrops, oblongs and much, much more.
Break them up and use them for various projects, or make something of the strand as it is. Your options are many.
The colours are a mix of browns, topazes, pale beiges etc.
